I am looking at this as a stepping stone.
One of the things I encourage my clients, my friends, family is to use their intuition, to be true to themselves. And when we do that, we stay within the healthy boundaries we create for ourselves to be able to move forward. It doesn't mean that because I didn't exercise for an entire week that I just took 10 steps backwards, it just means that my focus was where it needed to be this last week. I knew I was honing in on my health. And while exercise is GOOD for my health, right then and there, my body needed to catch up.
I encourage each of you to create boundaries. Then when something comes up in your life, you can ask yourself if you are being true to yourself, God and your family. If for any reason the answer is no, then take that as stepping stone to having some self-care and be good with it. The more practice you do, the more you will trust your intuition and you will be happier - mind, body and spirit. Your relationship with God will strengthen, as will your relationship with your family.
I'm gearing up for this week, by starting out this evening with a much needed 90 minute massage. I know that this will help me a lot with better sleep. Serenity soft gel has helped me to calm my mind at night, which is pretty big for me to be able to just shut that part off for a time. I need to diffuse it too, as aromatherapy always has beneficial effects on so many levels, and for me, I respond well to aromatherapy.
And then, I am focusing on the best times for me to be able to exercise this week and not have this week become 10 steps backwards. Stepping stones help us become more aware of ourselves and be well.
