I did a Piyo Strength training workout this morning and it felt SO good to be back at exercising again! It feels good to feel good right?! That is what this is about! It is about being healthy and creating confidence! I haven't done a strength training before and it was super fun, it was hard at times, but I pushed myself and I feel good! Many of the moves I had to modify so that I wasn't bouncing on my right hip, but even with the modifications, I felt such an empowerment throughout - mind, body, and spirit. That is exactly what I need when I am doing these workouts! So it is good to be back in the saddle!
I haven't done another follow-up picture from the first one I did, I think on March 2nd - only because I skipped like 2 weeks practically (with that one moving day that I'm counting). So I'm waiting for that picture and then I MIGHT be brave enough to show whatever progress I have had, even if it has been a gradual progress, it is progress and that is worth celebrating!
This morning, I made a doTERRA Slim & Sassy Vanilla Trim Shake with a banana, strawberries, blueberries, and ice. NOTE to self: Make sure the bottom of the Bullet is secured tightly before mixing. I seriously should have taken a picture, because it looked like A Cat in the Hat kitchen mess on the counter, that went down the front of the counter and on the floor and somehow as it exploded everywhere, a big portion of it got into my glass, so not all was wasted. THUMBS UP to getting in my glass - it was delicious! THUMBS DOWN for the mess. THUMBS UP for my 11 year old in voluntarily helping me clean it up
