Hello, hello!
My name is Jennie, I'm the Owner of Heartpoint Healing and the Licensed Massage Therapist of Heartpoint Healing,  doTERRA Wellness Advocate.

 In the last few years, fitness has weighed on my mind. Not too long ago, I was nearing my 40's, and now that I am there and a little beyond that, fitness has hit me between the core so to speak. I have 4 kids, and a few years ago when my youngest was a few years old, and I leaned down to pick her up along with having a heavy back pack on, and the realization that I could NOT pick her up with the backpack on - kind of hit me that my core wasn't strong anymore. That in itself didn't sit with me well. I started to mull it all over...

I didn't grow up loving exercise like so many of my friends have. I hated PE in High School, and was excited to take Body Conditioning my Senior year. It was the BEST class! Over the years, I have tried various gyms and I just didn't have the motivation enough to stick to it in those types of environments. I tried yoga classes, which I absolutely loved, but didn't stick to it - not sure why. Workout buddies are a great strength in working out, but jiving schedules can be difficult at times. I'm not really sure what my niche is yet, but I am starting somewhere in this journey of fitness and decided to incorporate or try out many types of fitness programs including TERRAFit in the comfort of my own home. The idea to become a TERRAfit coach rang true to me, and so I sought out to do just that to be able to be at my best to guide others to be at their best.

I hope the Heartpoint Lifestyle blog will create accountability on my part and give me the opportunity to create accountability cheerleaders and become a cheerleader and coach for you!  So, here's to learning to LOVE exercise, become strengthened, flexible, balanced and age with grace! MOVEMENT IS LIFE and I intend to keep up with my kids, future grandkids, and feel AMAZING heart, mind, body and spirit!

I'll even be brave enough to add a before and after picture in the future... so stay tune on that.

But the purpose of this page is to let you know that you are not alone in your fitness journey, that I struggle too, and I hope to be able to be an inspiration to you to get on the same empowered fitness wagon.

I am excited about this new journey that I am on to create fitness success in my goals. What are my goals?
Stronger core for sure! Toned, all over would be great! And, I'd like to lose the 10 lbs I gained in the past year (my clothes don't fit like they used to). I know that with all of this, continuing to eat more and more whole/raw foods, keeping hydrated, using my essential oils for motivation & focus & immunity, get-up-and-go, for sore muscles, to curb cravings etc. I WILL accomplish all that I have set out to do and more!  It's about feeling and being healthy now and as I age!
